A few months ago, I got to sit down and chat with David Thompson and Angus An and chat about Thai Food.  David Thompson was in town as part of Dine Out Vancouver World Chef Exchange  and I lept at the chance to try his food first hand.

I was more than a little intimidated and excited to meet with this god of Thai cuisine – but my reverence was met with friendly hilarious irreverence.  Turns out David Thompson is gregarious and has a tremendous sense of fun – and the only thing he takes seriously, is making Thai food with love, respect, and generosity.

A helluva guy.
