So – if you follow my instagram feed, you’ll see that I am a huge huge fan of Mr. Red Cafe. The food has an underpinning of vibrancy and care that really speaks to the heart of being a restauranteur. Rose Ngyuen and her husband, Hong – have created such lovely space and menu of well selected family favourites.
I was lucky enough to sit down with Rose – and talk about what it means to recreate something special from your childhood in a new country. What it means to share those flavours with a clientele that is made up of those looking for a specific taste memory as well as diners looking to broaden their palates and explore real Vietnamese cuisine.
